Linda Christ

Linda completed her Bachelor's degree in Sport Science at the TUM School of Medicine and Health in Munich, where she focused on exercise biology, biomechanics, sports medicine, and sports psychology. Already during her studies, she worked as a student assistant at the TUM Prevention Center and gained experience in sport gerontology and biomechanics through research internships at the German Sport University Cologne.

After finishing her Bachelor's, she took the opportunity to see a bit of the world: in Western Australia, she helped care for and rehabilitate rescued animals at an animal sanctuary, and on Lombok and Gili Air she got involved in sustainability projects tackling the plastic waste crisis, working alongside local initiatives. These travels sharpened her awareness of ecological interconnections and sparked her interest in the link between environmental change and human health.

To pursue this passion, Linda took on an internship at Green City e.V. in Munich, where she helped shape educational projects on sustainable development and ran workshops on climate protection and resource conservation. She has been deepening this field of interest since October 2025 in the Master's program "Environment, Climate Change and Health."

In her free time, Linda is happiest when she's outdoors and on the move. Hiking, cycling, basketball, beach volleyball, and inline skating are among her favorite hobbies, and she also enjoys being creative and playing the guitar.

Linda started to work as a student assistant at the Chair of Planetary & Public Health in July 2026.
