Amirhossein Ataei Kachouei

Amir is from Iran and has been working since April 2025 as a student assistant at the Chair of Planetary and Public Health at the University of Bayreuth. He is a nutritionist with a strong interest in research, particularly in the relationship between dietary patterns and human health. His current focus is on exploring the cardiometabolic and mental health outcomes of sustainable dietary patterns, such as the Planetary Health Diet, also known as the EAT-Lancet reference diet.
He is also enrolled in the Global Food, Nutrition and Health program and holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Sciences from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in Iran. Before moving to Germany, he worked for two years as a dietitian at a cardiology hospital, gaining valuable clinical experience.
Outside of his academic and research pursuits, he enjoys working out, watching movies, and enjoying Persian food.
